Q: I like the look of the gloves, what are they made of?
A: The gloves are based on golf gloves, made normally with Cabretta leather unless stated otherwise. The spikes are metal.
Q: Those gloves look scary. Are the spikes sharp?
A: The gloves only look scary, but once you feel them on your body, you should be hooked (unless, like my partner, you are too ticklish). The claws and spikes are quite sharp, short spikes are not as sharp as the other ones. Those gloves ARE NOT meant to draw blood or cause permanent marks on the recipient's body.
Q: I have seen those gloves before, where can I buy them?
A: On the "Contact" page, there are some links to my eBay shop, with the gloves that are currently available. Alternatively, please use the contact email address with your requirements.
Q: How much are the gloves?
A: The price depends on the gloves and where they get sold. If I put them on eBay, I have to add a bit more to the price of the gloves to account for eBay fees. If I sell them in person or via the "Contact" button, then it's £25 per one glove and £40 per pair. I do some "Special Offers" from time to time, please keep an eye on my "Special Offers" page! If you have any particular requirements that would need different base gloves than I'm using, then we can discuss the price difference and come to an agreement.
Q: How much does it cost to post the gloves?
A: All postage cost is on me, and payment is required on receipt of the gloves, unless you're happy to pay beforehand. Payment via PayPal (friends and family) preferred.
Q: Do you post abroad?
A: No, sorry, I do not offer international postage, domestic only (within UK).
Q: Are there other colours available?
A: Yes, I can normally get the gloves in black, red, tan/light brown, blue/navy, purple, green, orange, white-and-black, white-and-red, white-and-green and white-and-blue. However, due to issues with unreliable supplier, I had to remove full-colour gloves from the options (hopefully it's only temporary).
Q: What sizes are available?
A: Anything from Small to XL; however, not every single colour is available in all those sizes.
Q: How long does it take to make the gloves?
A: If I have everything in stock (base gloves, spikes and metalwork for the inside) - less than a week. If I have to order items, particularly the base gloves - somewhere between 2 to 3 weeks. I normally send a photo of the ready gloves just before posting them, so the buyer knows what to expect. All gloves come with some extra spikes.
Q: How should I look after the gloves?
A: All the spikes have been tightened by hand and set to the maker's hand. Therefore, they may need slight adjustments to the user's hand, as well as the spikes will need tightening from time to time using Phillips screwdriver (depends on use). Also, I'd recommend spraying the gloves with antibacterial spray after use and let them dry naturally. Do not put in the washing machine or tumble dryer!
